"What you cannot express with mind you can express with dance". Dance is her life where she finds Solace. Dance reflects the depth of her feelings and expresses the emotions in her heart. The journey for the search of divine took her to the Degree College Gandharva Mahavidyalya. Mrs. Pinky then in a bid to serve the art form joined Smt. Shilp Patel for 4 years. She worked relentlessly for the promotion of Bharat Natyam through cultured programmes in Surat, Navsari and Bhestan ; Gujrat. She flourished and learned under the able guidance of Dr. Sreedhara A.R of Bangalore. She successfully completed her degrees in music (Visharad) and M.A in Dance form Baroda University and currently she holds the post of dance guru in one of the most prestigious institution in Ludhiana, Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.

Mrs. Pinky has gained 18 years of teaching experience in this enriching relationship with her favorite subject Bharat Natyam. She has bagged numerous prizes, awards in her kitty and has added a string of achievements to her name. She has successfully, creatively & skillfully masterminded and choreographed numerous functions at different levels of life. She has composed and exhibited various folk dances of different provinces of India in front of a variety of audience. In 1994, she choreographed a Gujrati Jappani folk dance for Guru Nanak National College, Doraha. She is an expert in her field and feels passionately for BharataNatyam.

Her creativity and talent is most visible in teaching and staging Jatiswaram, Tillana and Padams. She excels in coming up with innovative and novel dance items. Her spirited and wholehearted dedication towards Bharat Natyam continues as she churns out about 50 - 60 students every year for 'Pracheen Kala Kendra Examination'. She has worked for Disney Land School and also served Rajeshwari Kala Mandir and extended her esteemed services to Anra Health Club as instructor before joining 'SHCS, Sarabha Nagar'.

Why Dance ? Why she choose Bharat Natyam? Whenever such questions are put to her, her only answer is: as Osho says, " I could have been a painter but then I would have been separated from my art work once my painting was over, I could have been a poet , but then my poem would assume it's own existence & have a life of it's own."
I choose to be a dancer because God created Universe through dance. God is present in the leaves, flowers, rivers, animals & every human. His dance is visible in all. The world is nothing but God's dance and his dance is visible in all. Dance comes as a revelation, as a realization, as a meditation and aids in grasping the many nuances of one's culture & spiritual being. The dance expression lives on leading to a performed experience of advaita of her non duality & dance becomes eternity. So dance & dance........
